A cool idea for your old musical instruments

30-Day Writing Challenge – Day 4city of montreal musical instrument donation drive flyer

If you have extra musical instruments lying around gathering dust, some Montreal libraries would love to have them.

You see, several libraries have set up musical instrument lending programs and they’re on the lookout for the following types of instruments, so long as they’re in good condition:

  • Guitars
  • Basses
  • Violins
  • Ukeleles
  • Keyboards
  • Tambourines
  • Xylophones

This donation drive, which started October 24, wraps up on December 24.

You can drop your old musical instruments off at one of these Montreal libraries:

  • Georges-Vanier, 2450 Workman
  • La Petite-Patrie, 6707 De Lorimier
  • Maison culturelle et communautaire, 12002 Rolland
  • Plateau-Mont-Royal, 465 Mont Royal E.
  • Saul-Bellow, 3100 Saint-Antoine
  • Verdun, 5955 Bannantyne
